But thats not to say anything about whether the troops are/are not human, it simply states that the combine are alien.

But Gordon and the Resistance are mostly seen in the vids to be fighting the Combine forces, so they're most likely the "Extradimensional invaders". Or at least, their high-ups are...

I don't think anyone actually knows if they are or not. They weren't in the original HL, that's for sure.

They look kinda xenish, but that's possible... We havn't seen any other Race X creatures though, as far as I know. My bet's on xen.

As for the combine, it's still hard for me to decide if they're human or not. Perhaps the combine is some sort of evil corporation that got ahold of Xen lifeforms and used them to bioengineer hybrid soldiers and things like the Strider and Gunship.

Did you even read what the vivendi site said...alien domination? They arnt a corporation...its been fully confirmed that they are alien.
