how do i reinstal the SDK?

yesterday i instaled the HL2 XSI program, i got som problems using 3ds-max (my 3d prog of chose) and came to the conclution that XSI was the problem so i uninstaled it. anyway 3d-max runs fine now that is not the curent problem. the problem is that after i deleated XSI all the moddle...

i am finaly finished with the gun itself, now i just have the magasine and the other acsesories left. or should i work more on the gun: added picture

i wish i could say this were my first moddles, but i must admit a made some crappy box-models in the past. anyway, i am making these using ichi's tekniqe after waching those exelent VTMs: they ar maybe 60% done i just nead adding a magasin, front, back and some buttons and other detales...

how ironic, i acualy figured it out and now i can help you yhey :D go to wewport prefrence click configure driver and set background/download texture size as hi as posible. it works

wow those were super, i realy lerned a lot. i have tryed to to test it but i have one problem, hven i place the refrence material on the plane the reselution greatly decrease so i cant se the smal detales. that diden't seam to happen to u? does this have anything to do whit my video...
