I remember this thread... didn't feel like it was over two years ago though!
Congrats though! Currently saving for a house myself... need to stop spending else I'll never save enough xD
Haha I'm not sure! To be fair, I only had one track in TM and that was the one I did for their trial. And that track wasn't allowed loops and jumps etc, so probably not :P I guess they wanted to see what I could do with a limited tile set. (Not that we're limited at all with F1 Race Stars!)
Haha I guess so! :)
It is a lot of fun and I'm very proud to have this title in my portfolio.
We'll have to get some ValveTime 12 player races on the go when it finally comes out in November ;)
What version do you reckon you guys will get? (If you get it, hope you do!) I'll probably get...
Great little preview with more info for you guys here: http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2012/07/13/preview-f1-race-stars-xbox-360-ps3/
12-player online races. So you can definitely get all you guys in! It's great for some quick pick up and play fun.
It's not an in-game screenshot but to be honest it's really not that far off.
Thank you!
We're having a great time playing it in the office and it gets really competitive.
I can finally talk about what game I've been working on the past 7 or 8 months!
Codemasters just announced F1 Race Stars and I can't be more excited right now!

Thank you guys so...
Glad you're ok man. Sounds like it could have been much much worse.
It always annoys me how the driver who was stupid enough to drive so dangerously got off with just a swollen eye and everyone else gets ****ed up. Has he been arrested or anything?
Yeah I'm not overly excited about this since really the only way publishers/developers are going to make money is with F2P/subscription based games. Neither model I'm overly keen on.
If this comes into play in the EU I could see a lot of publishers pulling their libraries from Steam etc in...
I just pledged the $15. Like you said to get anything physical you have to pay way too much really. The only thing I really want is the marking of/art book.
For those of you that were interested this has a kickstarter now which has already passed it's goal. There's only a few days left before the kickstarter ends.
You can get the full game for a $15 pledge.

So I've been here just over six months now and I have a little update for you guys.
I filled in a little form yesterday and at the top it read...
Basically, I am now a full employee at Codemasters!
I'm having a great time here. Made some great friends and I've seriously learnt a lot...
Wow by the sounds of it I've been lucky. All I've encountered is a couple of crashes during movies and I've never lost any progress.
I've yet to try the multiplayer. Are any of you playing it regularly? Add Ren182 to R*'s social club and I'll join you if I see you on there :)
Our HQ is in Southam, that's where the main bulk of employees are. I'm at the Birmingham studio, there's over 100 of us there though.
Nah I've not worked on DiRT Showdown. The title I'm working on hasn't been announced yet. Can't wait till it does though as I'm pretty sure I'm going to be as...
Congrats on the game being announced! What do you do there?
Screenshot looks nice and I enjoyed the first game so I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. :D
Had a better game this morning. Started using a map on my second monitor just to get used to things. I's so much easier when you actually have some bearings.
Started down south east corner near Kamenka, got shot pretty much straight away by another survivor/bandit. He came up to me and I was...
