I bet you have vSync enabled... if you do, turn it off! It is screwy in CSS so if you want it locked at 60 fps you have to create a config file that will launch the console code fps_max 61 every time you open CSS

VIP was always my favorite gameplay mode in 1.6.. please bring it back!

This has been happening to me lately, except the game stops for about 10 seconds or so and then all of a sudden I'm dead and bodies drop. I wonder if it's a new bug with an update or something. I have an oc'ed gfx card too, I hope it's not the reason!
