For all you know each episode could have 5 maps 5 weapons 5 vehicles 5 NPCs, all custom. It's ridiculous to make such claims when you really don't know anything about the project. I'm not saying that it will include all of the above, or anywhere near that, I'm just saying we simply don't know...

I only think it will be justified if the modification advances a LOT from its current state which is in itself great as a free offering but consists of little more than test maps and unfinished gameplay types. If I'm to pay for it I want several polished and fun Lua gameplay types already...

I just wanted to say that it really was Valve who gave the original release date of April 24th and not EA. http://www.mod-hq.com/index.php?page=viewpost&topic_id=163 A minor delay, just pretty surprising it was announced at this time. Oh well :)

I don't know when Possession was first announced but GameSpot's oldest news report regarding the game is dated back to April 2005. Of course, that doesn't mean GameSpot was the first ever website to mention Possession. They don't seem to cover the game much, other websites have had articles...

Come on guys, read the interview, this really isn't like NS or BF2 at all (well, no more than any FPS is similar to another one), it's a new way to blend the two genres without compromising aspects of either.

That poll is pretty lame anyway though... Doesn't list many of the great websites out there, and as some people already mentioned, only includes the planet sites (some are alright, like Planet Battlefield) because of the IGN/GameSpy affiliation... ...My vote will have to go to BeyondUnreal this...
