to make cubemaps... do i just add env_cubemap and that is it? cause i did that, went into the game and it didn't seem to show any reflection light on the walls/floors?

hmm. it is very annoying! no it just doesn't appear no matter wat! it happens to all objects...but then some do work :S it is very strange. ie i make a box and it shows. i make another and it doesnt same with a barrel and a bottle. and maybe others!

hey all... i have some wierd problem... i made a quick room for half life 2.... i added some boxes and some junk...and a crowbar. Now when i went into play it. the crowbar was shown, but the boxes and junk were invisable? why is this? can someone please help me?

well i have it on 2 computers and we both can play on LAN against each other :)

arrgh...but we can play it online via "LAN" mode and play against each other... but if i got a seperate steam account for the other comp...that will then mean i would have to buy CS:S again wouldn't it?

naa that is also happening to me man it is so odd! there are 2 textures in the cubemap.vmf that are not showing Arrgh and the they dont seem to want to reflect that well. i dont get wat the map is trying to show it is so odd

no i didn't play cs 1.5 with two comps no. i didn't even play cs 1.5 myself. i didn't personally like cs....but i love cs:s so i would love to play it on two comps in my house :D is it possable?

it is a good side scroller! it takes some enermies from half life 2 :D the end level is nuts! easy and fun :D

it is very impossable. the menu for half life 2 is basically a MAP. it is loading up a map for the main menu! the background runs by the half life 2 engine. so no very impossable to have as a windows background you could take a screenshot and use the screenshot as the windows background
