i have been able to do it in CS:S so he is trying to annoy people by saying you can do it in HL2 (which u prob can) but he is saying he has done it (but i bet he did it on CS:S)
i hate it when people do all the talking but not the showing ;)
i remember reading in a pc mag, that valve said the player can wonder around the streets for HOURS ON END! just exploring/talking to people/playing with phsics...
that is exactly what i will be doing.
He said that people wondering the streets come up and say to you..."haven't i seen u...
most games are 15-20 hours ;) call of duty i would say is 15hrs gameplay.
basically hl2 if it is 20-25-30-40hrs then that basically means...
1) 20hours none stop playing then u will complete it.
2) 20hours none stop playing KNOWING what you are doing from start to finish and not stopping...
I love valve so this isn't a "trolling" thread.
just an thread to clear somethings up maybe.
Things i remember reading from Pc magazines were..
1) Half Life 2 going to be twice as long as the original from 30-40hrs of gameplay
2) every building is destructable
3) fire spreads...
wow your so lucky.
i ordered the gold package on the 6th of november hehe :D so i was wondering if i would get it "around" the same time as all the other brits because valve said they have shipped them.
also it is friday now, so if it doesn't come today im going to have to wait till monday...
how do i go about tracking it?
i mean i went to fed|ex site. i put my postcode in and the shipping date and "valve" but it ended up being for some other man i dont know :S
how can i go about tracking mine :S
well if they have BOUGHT it why not install it?
so if u buy it from retail and install it on your comp it will be locked?
how will it be unlocked? do valve know when u install it on your comp?
does everyone have to have steam even if u get it from retail?
how cant they?

man i hate it when there are posts saying "some people have played it and here's proof......."
well where is the proof? i dont want to see another dam screenshot of a picture of a CD box or CD case of the game...if you want to prove it to us, then either...
1) show us some never seen...
