The strat is 320 pages long. We got the GTA: San Andreas guide in at work last week and that was about 275 pages, and the majority of our customers were surprised at how big it was. This guide is gonna be a lot of fun to read through after completing the game.

Sorry lans, as much as I hate to be the party pooper, I've waited too long to spoil even something so insignificant. Others will be along shortly who will have the guide in-hand and be happy to confirm it.
As for me, I think you'll all be better off refraining from reading any and all...
Haha, well if you're serious, I guess I have to disagree. Music can't be beautiful? Most of these tracks definitely give you a pretty vivid picture in your mind's eye. By 'almost perfect' I simply meant to convey that this was not a cheap CD produce. The music featured is of really high quality...
They say you're gonna wait about 4-6 weeks, but I ordered mine day one and I think it took about 3 weeks. You're looking at about December 1st, I'd say. Don't worry man, you'll love it and it's most definitely worth the wait.
Poster pics uploading now.

Some of the tracks are very cool remixes of the first game's music. Track 34, for example, is a remix of HL1's credits sequence and it's freakin' sweet. To all the people worried about the music from the Binks in thinking that it was a little 'too' techno-sounding, fear not. There are plenty of...
Just showed up. I checked the email, no shipping confirmation. Funny set of circumstances actually, I had just finished reading a thread about a guy getting a notice about his Gold package coming across the border, and went downstairs to find the box leaning against the door.

I'd absolutely recommend buying the soundtrack when it's out. And check this... it's got 42 tracks to enjoy. That's a whole lot of music. I've listened to about a quarter of the tracks so far and they're completely amazing. There's truly something for everyone here.

Posters are 1.5' x 2' (exactly). Gordon is as cool as ever, Alyx as beautiful, and the G-Man looks even more creepy than you'd expect. Interestingly enough, they re-did the eyes on each character which makes them look all the more realistic. Pics coming in a few.

I just popped in the CD a minute ago. Ho-ly crap... I expected it to be good, even great, but this is damned near perfect. You are all, trust me, in for a serious treat. One thing, though... If you don't for some reason have a powerful subwoofer, buy one immediately for this game. It's...
Nah, these guys are right. You get a hat instead of the T-shirt with the Gold package. We've known for quite a while. Says right on the Steam buying options.
Check the pic for Steam Gold info:

It's a real nice hat. Port Authority brand. The logo is thick and reflective, material is heavy and durable, and it has an adjustable velcro strap on the back.
