Billy I used to have this problem whenever I would game for an extended period of time. The problem was my cpu was over heating ... When the game freezes does it keep repeating the last sound you herad in the game??? LIke a gunshot for instance repeating and going *bang bang bang bang * ? ...

I"m playing it on hard and I've managed to get up to sandtrap with the big gate in the middle of the road made by the combine ... wish me luck : D
