The newest 4.12's increase the entire line of performance for Ati's cards, for the x800's apparently for some people 10+fps, this puts it above the 6800gt in quite a few cases. And these are just betas, can't wait for the full release next month :thumbs:

As long as you have a card over the Fx series for nvidia (5600-5950 etc) you will get all the effects, (so you'd need a geforce 6000 series card) And for Ati, as long as you have a 9000 series (anything 9500 and up) you will get all the effects, and of couarse the x300 and up will give you...

There exploits not hacks. Anyways the people that download them and use aren't hackers, The only ones who could even be considered that are the jackasses that programed it in the first place. not the users, there just idiots who suck with out cheating.

yup anoys me to when people do that, espically in games when people are cheating and people call them a "hacker" their not, just morons that downloaded a program to cheat. hacking and cheating are two completly diffrent things.

If you re-read my post you will see it says all those compaines "suck" but if you HAD to buy one, falcon northwest is better then alienware. Automation only does so much. and what are you talking about really good "upgrades" that are optimized for alienware? if they post drivers on their site...

Never put cleaning fluids on any type of monitor! Use a very dry cloth (lint free) and just a "TAD" of water, so little that you don't even need to dry the screen it evaporates right after you wipe it. Cleaning fluids will eat at your screen given time.

yup sums it up. that and if you have or ever get a dvd burner you can easily make those 5 cds into one dvd. Then if your printer allows you to make cd/dvd stickers your all set.

Yea thats a good deal for the standard, Id go for that if I wasen't already going for steam purchase. Ce does not come with the strategy guide, its a prima book sampler, has a bit of the stragtegy guide, and a bit of the rasing the bar book thats all.

or if your in canada, futureshop is giving away a 40 dollar optical mouse for free with half life 2.

It's not under rated, it was the best card out when it came out. These days well its older, so its no longer the best, doesn't mean it was under rated.
