Which is why the things that need to be instantly accessed will still be stored on the cards ram. Improving speed and/or reducing cost.
..and things that normally are read from system ram and the hardrive will happen at a faster rate.
I bought an Mx510 a month or so back.

I just saw the Imax(big ass movie theatre) version of Spiderman 2.
I have to say the physics were completly unrealistic......like an 80 year old woman flying through the air.....and being able to hang from an umbrella..... :dozey:
Those games are not true FPS games though. They are semi-turn/time based.
They dont rely on reactions and low latency.
You can play a mmorpg with a 300 ping and not even notice.
I doubt you would be able to do things like pick up splinters of wood in HL2. Becuase as valve likes to say....it will not add anything to gameplay.
Im sure you could mod something though.
Like break a leg off a table and use it as a club for example.
