How is his cpu bad? 3 ghz is well above recommended for D3 and will outperform the 2500 on pretty much any benchmark.
The memory will be a bottleneck and slow your computer down somewhat.
At the moment I am in the process of upgrading all of the computers in my house and am looking at wireless networks.
Is this all I need to get started:
Modem/Router
PCI adapter
I will connect the other computers and macs using ethernet and airport extreme cards so this is not a...
I remember my friend swapped his Ti 4600 to a FX 5200 pci!! He said it was a higher number so he thought it was better. Luckily he was able to take it back.
I had that problem before I jumped on the broadband wagon. It turned out my service provider had split my phone line between me and a few other people down my road so my line was being shared which made 56k even worse that it already was.
There could also be a problem with trees and water...
I think to sell the graphics card the company has to pass some nVidia tests but some brands are more prone to problems than others. I've heard of a few more faulty Galaxy 6800s than other brands. Also Gainward had a pretty shambolic time with their first 6800s (wrong BIOS included etc) so I...

The x800 pro vivo is a speed binned XT, ie. they are not 100% stable at xt speeds, so all you need to do is flash it with the xt bios so it thinks it is an xt and add some cooling like the new vga silencer, this adds stability.

Good brands of network equipment to look out for include Netgear, Belkin, D-Link, Linksys and...

Oh yeah, didn't notice it was registered ram, you will gian no benefit from this memory with your choice of motherboard so might you might as well buy cheaper normal 3200 ram.
The 6800 GT is a very good buy at the moment and is easily flashed/clocked to an ultra.
Also I found the fans on the xaser to be underpowered so you might want to look into buying a couple more powerful case fans.
