I've been hearing this on and off... Basically with the ORangeBox update VALVe broke the Model Viewer and the they fixed it again after a while for mots of us (lucky me for instance).
However, if you get this try unchecking the "use VGUI model browser" checkbox in Hammer Options.

Google finds that many results for pruneNodes, all realted to compile logs... I don't knwow what it actualy does but its fairly common.
You have displacements in HL1 :O
Also, the log contains no leaks so I think the brushes underneath the displacements is not the problem at hand.
Adn the only way to get out of too big displacements is smaller displacements. I doubt they were messed at all. Just big.
Take your big and not correct displacement and destroy it. You now get the original brush. Use the clip tool to cut that brush up into several pieces and make a displacement out of them one by one.
1. What? Make smaller doors or change the texture scale?
2. The handles are ofthen models, used as prop_dynamic and parented to the door itself. Door the has an output to the prop_dynamic telling it to animate OnOpen.
3. Browse textures for measure and there should be a bunch of materials...
Lol, that makes perfect sense but it also makes no sense. You're basically saying that snipers, soldiers, heavies, engineers, pyros and demos and each control a corridor on their own. Well, if all thsese classes can, then which one will? DOn't get me wrong, it's a very important point you have...

But my first guess is unfortunatley that your map is infact invalid. Have no fearm we can fix almost anything!
When you run it in hammer? When you run a map you made yourself and when you try to run that? When running any map while SDK is open?
If its just one map made by you it seems as if you've been playing around with lightmaps and not known what you are doing. The simple cure is to select your...
Maybe it's the orange box SDK thats not working for you then. Make a shortcut to steam add this as parameters to it:
-applaunch 211 -beta sdk -engine ep1
then restart steam with that shortcut. That should open up the old SDK for you.
Cubemaps cannot presently be built for maps that run in an Orange Box game.
something is worng with cubemaps regardeless so it might be related still...

Decompile and then recompile could work but that'd be messy and things that are included in the orangeBox engine will be missing in the HL2DM engine. And its also illegal to distribute that map.
