Try holding a cammera over your head for an hour and see how steady you can hold it. Trust me, it's alot of fun. *snickers*
That's a better pic than I have in my video however it isn't that great either. Seeing them in person is another story and considering the lighting of the room, it would be difficult to find a decent picture.
Don't get your hopes up. I spent 90% of my tape on the presentation and the women did all the cool stuff after it was over. You get to glance at them for a few frames but nothing more.
Im at work now capturing the video... I should have it ready in a couple hours. I also think I got in trouble for posting what I did. Im sorry, I don't know the rules of quoting ppl as well as I should.

If they are charging ppl a subscription then the bandwith costs are supplimented by the fees imposed on the players. Even if a player chooses not to subscribe, the estimated 2GB download would cost $4 in todays bandwith markets. That is alot less than the, agian estimated $50 that they will...
Gabe mentioned that they used the money that they made from HL1 and some money they had 'laying around' to make what they have now. I would assume that they could afford their own content servers at colocation facilities if they wanted to.
BTW, Everyone I talked to was very agianst Steam.
