I just find Steam wierd...it downloads s**t that i really have no clue what its downloading. Even for Half Life. Thinking to myself "What update could there possibly be that is going to update Half Life?? And do i really need whatever this is downloading???"
sorry if poeple have posted this before...oh well i agree with the rest of you..the box is the only way to go and agreeing with ReZeroX...it is satisfiing to have the hard copy, you look at it and say "this is what they've been working on for 5 years" It makes you feel like your holding...
ok ive posted this in the steam forum too but just wanted to see what other people thought...
do you guys think getting a hard copy of half life is better than buying it off steam???
ok i know steam can download hl2 for you but would you rather just go to the store and buy a nice set of cd's which won't be that big of an installation hassle or getting it via steam?
what do you guys think, store or steam????
look at the bright side...at least were getting new media and besides the games commin out at the end of september....i dont know if you've noticed or not....thats a long time to wait so stop naggin about the delay of the video for a couple days and just...go outside or something..i try to. You...
ok 1. is Steam software that valve released that automatically downloads stuff at insainly high speeds? and 2. can i download the new HL2 media from a public server?
