This has made me re-install TF2 just to see how being able to pick up weapons changes this. It's a pretty fundamental change to the game. Seems really un-TF2. Seems a lot more reasonable than a bloody minecraft one.

Not it's actually about the original Descent. Rock Paper Shotgun were supposed to be doing a monthly "book club for games" and Descent was the inaugural game (the book club seems to have died before it got off the ground though, maybe I was the only person who actually wrote something for it?)...
