I preferred the old way. We didn't do anything to change it, it was the makers of vbulletin :(

it's a default vb feature which we cba to use, it's mainly for things like limiting forum access to certain groups of people etc.. :D

All versions of vb support image sigs, but we have to allow them. and we wont, ever :D

I'll re-do the /me hack once we get a final release of 3.5 We're probably going to get some bugfix updates in the near future so anything I do now will just be overwritten. Once we've got a stable release I'll add it.

I've gotta agree, that's the most amusing thread I've ever seen on these forums, and it all spawned out of a fairly innocent question by Farrow :D

Basically, valve host our DNS (until someone sorts out BIND on this box), and limelight host the actual server. They did it as a favour when our last host screwed us around, and not to have any 'hold' over us - thats something they made clear before we moved onto this server.
