Been playing a lot of older games recently, some from my childhood and others that I heard were good. Modded Dark Forces II last night to get the thing to work on a modern system and it's just been wonderful--that one I used to play with a joystick. Also bought System Shock 2 off some Steam sale...
Beats me: quite frankly I've just decided to burrow myself in a proverbial ditch and play old cyberpunk first-person shooters from the late '90s/early '00s. The competitive environment revolving around CS:GO and Overwatch is particularly toxic and probably only good for drunk nights; can't stand...
Not here, if that's what you mean. The announcement of a new Half-Life garnered, what, maybe five or six veterans and a handful of newbies? If anything we'll see another peak of resurgence come March followed by a steady, gradual decline as interest wavers: the concentration of people this place...
All he's saying is that the presence of shared materials/assets across games doesn't necessarily mean that the one work in a series will officially expand upon or follow the other(s) story-wise (although there's a good chance this one will). Just having the same characters or location is not an...
It is indeed a nice game--picked it up on sale back in December. The filling-in-the-blanks aspect of it is one of the reasons I enjoyed it, particularly what they did with Xen in creating a much stronger presence of the science/exploration teams having previously been there.
Just trying to get my postcount up at this point but yes that was me as well; same here.
And I wish this for those who unfortunately aren't still frequenting the site with us. Lots of fond memories spent with them (i.e. reading their posts while lurking in the shadows).
Happy new decade...
Thanks man, really. Things turned out all right: grades were good. Going to respond to some emails today.
Happy new decade, you beautiful son of a bitch.
Checked my email today. So far, so good. Will have to check the grades for this semester to see how I did. Wasn't too keen on looking at them, which is why I prolonged it so long. I don't know what it is, but I'm hesitant about checking. We'll see how it goes.
This made me smile. Play on, god damn it. I just drank today having checked my email for school: so far, so good. No angry emails from professors, nor were there too many emails asking me to check back with them on details. I had one or two; one from a friend, the other from the receptionist at...
Can't remember what it would have been prior; there are so many faces that have passed through here that I've only managed to grab hold of a few avatars and attach them to the names to which they belong.
Are you absolutely sure that they are mobilizing toward exclusivity and aren't simply exclusively excluding exclusions?
Also, hello once more, old friend. And you haven't even changed the ****ing avatar.
