Upgrade to ValveTime.net - Planned Down Time

hmmmmm... What the site stands for isn't really defined by you. What we are, and have been for a very long time, is a Valve news site. Which is what Valvetime.net will continue to be. However, we took your feelings into account and put it to a vote amongst the staff - switch to the new domain...

Strange problem, extra monitors activing by themselves.

All 3 are attached to your PC? You can't run 3 independent monitors off one card unless you're using DisplayPort for at least one of them (something to do with timings, I believe)

NECA line of Valve figures revealed

£130 or so, so about $200? Regardless, it's sold out already, before it's even ready to ship.

    Eurogamer: "Devs Owe You Nothing"

I'm not defending the Source engine. It's horrible to use. I'm just pointing out that the map size limitation is not a hard limit. If Valve wanted to exceed it, they could do so quite easily. Therefore, it's a matter of choice and not necessity. Historically, Valve have always catered for the...

    Eurogamer: "Devs Owe You Nothing"

After having spoken with a Source engine licensee, the issue with map extents could be solved "in half a day" - it's not a hard limit, it's a limit that Valve imposed because it suited their needs at the time. In much the same way that Portal 2's version of Source was significantly enhanced over...

    C&C Renegade X

They seem to be staying true to the original, at least. Poor singleplayer, good multiplayer. I hope!

    C&C Renegade X

Uh....that was pretty awful. Poor animations (my initial thought was "why is everyone limping?") Atrocious voice acting. Seriously, I wanted to die listening to it. Nonexistent AI - enemies run towards you, then stand still and shoot until you kill them. They don't attempt to evade, take cover...

    C&C Renegade X

I tried the initial release, and I was disappointed that a lot of the tactics I used to employ didn't work. However, they fixed things in subsequent versions, and it seems pretty faithful to the original (minus the rubberband physics!) I'd be up for some hl2.net games.

Quantum Conundrum: Kim Swift makes interesting, cute puzzle game, (no portals???)

That's not like Portal at all. Definitely not.
