Yeah, picked up tomb raider as well, that's an excellent price. Both of the games I was hoping to purchase went on daily deals already, and I've still got 7.50 to go towards anything else that catches my fancy. I'd love for Trackmania to go on sale, but none of their items are discounted...
In an attempt to steer this topic back on track I have a question for you lot.
I'm currently debating whether I should purchase bioshock infinite or not. The praise has been more or less universal, but I wanted to get some of your opinions on it first. Is it worth picking up at $30?
So I just scrolled quickly through this thread to avoid spoilers, just to say I finally finished the end of Season 4. Holy hell what a finale. Can't wait to start watching the 5th season!
No problem. That particular issue hits home for me simply because I know quite a few people in polyamourous relationships. Many people believe that those kinds of relationships are not feasible or highly destructive, and although they can sometimes require more effort than monogamy, they can...
Well, first off I totally disagree that monogamous relationships are the ideal relationship. What is considered "ideal" completely depends on an individual's requirements for a relationship. Even that news article you cited states just as much.
Also, I fail to understand how "Long-term...
This is my view on it as well. Come to think of it, Orson Scott Card is one of my favourite authors, and I continue to support him despite his controversial beliefs.
I'll be interested to see what Valve shows there, but my main focus for GamesCom is on DeepSilver, who are likely going to have a booth set up for Egosoft :D
I'm not debating what Kickstarter is supposed to be used for, I'm just explaining why they charged that much for the early access. You don't have to agree with their strategy, but thats why they did it.
I guess I just don't see it as being a huge difference. At the end of the day you are pledging support for the game before it's released, and as a result you get to play the game as it's developed before everyone else. Now, some people object to Steam being used in this way and that's fine, but...
I think the reason they did that was because only the $90 Kickstarter tier and above got alpha access. If they made it cheaper on Steam, they would've pissed off everyone who got that tier just for early access.
Yeah, it's expensive, but just wait for the final version for the reduced price...
Yeah I agree. Ubersampling did make the game look better, but it was nowhere near worth the performance hit. The Witcher 2 still looked phenomenal regardless.
