Hmm, ever since this was announced I've been watching it with some interest. Co-op with ARMA 2 looked like a bunch of fun (especially with all of you playing together), but I'm pretty intimidated by the realism involved. The lower price point for the alpha makes it much more tempting to purchase...
Random draft and all random are fun. Least played gives you too many options in my opinion. I still use all pick for when I feel like playing a particular hero (recently I've been able to stomp with AA for some reason).
Alright, well I bought this game while it was on sale over the weekend...
Magical Diary
Imagine a visual novel with a ton of branching stories, some very small RPG elements, and a Harry Potter vibe, and you get this game. The visual novel parts themselves I enjoyed a decent amount (keep in...
I haven't played much of FTL, but on my first playthrough I chose easy and managed to defeat the final boss no problem. Tried stepping it up to normal using other ships and it's quite a bit tougher :P
Yeah I saw this on the news this morning. Funny how everyone just assumes it's due to his age, when the reason for his resignation isn't exactly clear...
Should've said Bioshock for maximum rage.
The boring answer for me would be to say Half Life 2. Ignoring that game, its a toss up between Deus Ex: HR, Dark Souls, and X3: Terran Conflict.
Yeah, when they pop up on the screen I shift pretty much all of my soldier's attention to killing them as fast as possible. Being shot by a Sectoid sucks a bit. Being eviscerated by a Chryssalid and having the corpse turn into another Chryssalid is a whole different level of suck.
Between Classic and Normal Ironman, I would recommend Classic. It'll be difficult, but the ability to reload a save means that you can learn how to be competent against the tougher AI without outright losing 2 hours in.
Yeah, you are missing out if you never messed around with the weapons in that game. Don't get me wrong, the saber fights were awesome and IMO haven't been done better since then, but playing rocket tag using force push was awesome times :D
God, I can't believe I forgot about JK II and Academy. My favourite Star Wars games to date, I'm so mad they never continued that series. Republic Commando was also pretty cool, wouldn't mind seeing another one of those either.
Haven't played many old FPS games recently, but The Chronicles of Riddick is a great game that pays homage to the source material (not that old though).
Haha they were. I always get nervous, cause Spezza has the potential to pull off some amazing shots, but they tend to backfire a lot. I've been really impressed with Turris so far. Someone who wasn't even playing at the start of last season in Phoenix is now a lock for our 2C position, and has 4...
