honestly, i wouldnt want to visit valve unless i was working there or if it was for a job interview. my end goal in life is to work for valve, so its kinda like how hockey players never touch the stanley cup until they actually win it. superstition i guess.

well on a serious note, i think the only concrete mechanic that will be in HL3 is 100% completely destructible enviroments a la red faction.
considering what Havok stated about physics and the roll they will play in next gen games (and how close Valve is to Havok), i wouldnt put it past Valve...

i know the only things emitting light in the cabin are the two area lights, and the line of power units on the top right. the only other light source is the sun. all the panels are just coloured pixels, but i get what youre saying about them not emitting light.
