haha youre right.
to be honest i feel like we are becoming cops trying to bust drug dealers.
"Today, an crack team of community investigators found traces of the game L4D3 in Valve's Steamwork SDK. sources say traces of the game contain small amounts of the base Source2 as well, which Valve...
tbh, id be very angry with valve if they are actually developing L4D3. i hope lilgreenman is right.
the zombie/survival horror genre has been flooded ever since the success of L4D, the same way WW2 shooters were heavily saturated in the mid 2000's. there are a shit ton of zombie survival games...
i hate what the "Social Network Boom" has done to the internet. and i hate what it is doing to people.
especially the effect it has had on video games. GRID2 is the pinnacle of this (for anyone that has played it, you know what i mean in the Career Mode) and so is the Xbox One. it is becoming...
it did, but since then, euclideon was contracted to develop the geoverse engine, which looks to be very powerful and offers what seems to be impossible performance. thats the difference between now and a few years ago.
idk i liked it. Euclideon is based in Australia, which would explain the accent.
it felt like an Aperture Science promo video, or like a UAC tech/product demo from Doom3.
that is what i see as the most obvious implementation of the Geoverse for mainstream media/GPS apps
they claim none of this uses a GPU, which would lead me to believe that if a video game company tried using the Geoverse to generate a gamesphere, game designers would have to completely rethink...
not sure if theyre are any threads about this, but
i am speechless. and if anyone knows how much i rant and ramble on here...it is hard to render me speechless.
thoughts/comments anyone?
the only reason i have an xbox is because no one makes ice hockey games for PC.
if EA hadnt stopped developing the NHL series for the PC, i wouldnt have a 360.
i epicly regret buying a 360 over a PS3 as well. epicly regret.
apparently someone bought and registered the XboxOne.com and XboxOne.net domains before microsoft did.

im not doubting that the underlying framework that mods and games run off of is important. goldsrc is essentially a mod. ill hopefully be co developing a modular game engine in the near future that works with an IDE to make game develop easy to do for the average user; but atm we are still...
self discipline is the key to quitting.
dont be extremely hard on yourself if youre having trouble quitting, sinko. if quitting is becoming too stressful, you will naturally want to smoke more to relieve the stress. it is a vicious cycle that can only be ended if you dont let the frustration...

youre right.
games are not staying at $50 at launch...they are $60 and above on consoles. all those numbers you posted are still under the $500-$600 minimum that youre going to have to...
not really because i dont assume what i am spouting as fact, nor do i impose my beliefs on other people, nor do i try to convince other people to believe what i am saying, nor do i insult people for disagreeing with me, nor do i have a talk radio show that has paid call-ins. im not accusing...
where is sega now? the gamecube was overshadowed by the PS2, xbox and dreamcast for numerous reasons and im pretty sure the PS2 sold extremely well at launch because it was backwards compatible and people already had a built in library of games from the PS1 and didnt have to wait for exclusives...
this is hilarious.
after playing counter strike source competitively for years, the Anti-Cheat teams that CEVO and CAL implimented are essentially what valve is putting together now.
i cant imagine that VAC has been getting the same development time that DOTA2 has
as i outline below,if microsoft/sony went with a x64 Dual Core Xeon, Dual Core Pentium D/EE HT or even a x86 Core2Duo for the 360/PS3, there would be absolutely no issues of backwards compatibility because all 360/PS3 games would be native with windows8 and the XO/PS4.
that is why i spout...
youre right, i am only going by the abbriviation im seeing the most heh
whether is X1 or XBO or whatever, it is an....interesting...marketing choice by microsoft; to say the least.
only other thing ill add is that the "if youre backwards compatible, youre really backwards" quote from Don...
the only comment i will make is this:
the XO/PS4 is not backwards compatible because of the PowerPC/Cell Processing architecture the 360/PS3 uses.
that is why the XO/PS4 is not backwards compatible with the 360/PS3. it is why 360/PS3 games couldnt be easily ported to PCs and the x86/x64...
