If you have silver it might autodownload. Also, it seems to give me quite a good fps boost in HL2SP, Im gettig 10 more fps(40->50) while the texture quality is set to high(was medium) Will post CS:S results soon.

Mine runs at about 10spf(yes, seconds per frame), and took like 5 minutes to start a listen server, haven't tried joining an online one yet :( It also switched me from dx 8 to dx9 when i rand the stress test, which was 1/4th of normal fps :/

Something's going on. The available bandwidth just went up quite a bit. They wouldn't need much (if any) extra for a normal engine update :/, especially not 4 gigabits per second more :P

Right-click on the top bar(with server name, players, ping, etc) and click on bots. Problem solved :)

They said they saw that at first because the slug was on top of the gel in the end, but upon further examination it blew a really fugging huge piece out of the gel.

I am attempting to run a Half-Life server on this Linux box, but I can't get it to allocate the correct port. I have forwarded the port to this computer using my router ( http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/37/screenshot16gf.png {In that screen it's set to a different port than in the dump...

I doubt EA has any control over Valve with this. IF EA gave valve terms they didn't like, valve could have easily gone to activision(publishing DoD) or somesuch.

Also, in the one I saw, he pushed NPCs into doors, which makes them open, and can also skip whole chapters :P

I'm not sure about the first pic. It's not from the video, gordon only had a crowbar in the e3 2003 video, but there is clearly a shotgun in that pic. The old shotgun model as far as I can tell. EDIT:look at the date, those screens were added in 03.

It's in one of the HL2 gcf's, but i forget which one. It's a game soundtrack, so all the music has to be somewhere in the game files. Finding it is that hard part :P
