they are probably going to go gold and mass produce the game and hold it in the factories until closer to holiday season (silent gold) then ship immediatly when they want... it would be smarter at least
ugh your all forgeting some major MAJOR facts. If all vehicles are invulnerable 1. wouldnt that make it pretty damn easy? they wouldnt be able to hit you very well. 2. uhhh what about the tank (which i think gabe said there was one) and the armored buggy (seen in bink).... then what happens to...
were all forgetting something here. Halflife 2 singleplayer is said to last like 2 days continous play, if they dont play it 24/7 then they might not even be done going through the game yet.
when upgrading for a game thats not out yet you have to be smart, i got a radeon 9600XT on sale a while ago and since i didn't burn like 275-350$ on a video (technically if you subtract the cost of halflife2 that got bundled with it, i only payed 90 for the card) now i get to upgrade to the X700...
i'm inclined to disagree. while nivida made a major comeback (good for them) ati still racks up with them, i'm looking at the new Normal mapping and temporal antialiasing and most of all, the X800 pt requires just a little bit more power than the 9800 xt, while the nivida 6800 ultra.... heh...
Ya know it;d be awesome if higher level aliens gibbed but didn't die, like you maybe could shoot off a leg and it could still walk towards you (kinda in a sense like the zombies) the zombies you can cut in half but they still go for you. who says thats only restricted to zombies?
i dunno if this was already pointed out, sorry if it was. but in the e3 videos it already showed gibbing in the crane part. if you look when he shoots the ant things they kinda explode and their body parts fly off. i think this is how they will implement gibbing. kinda like you lose body parts...
DON'T SEND YOUR VOUCHERS IN. forget about the boxed game. use the code on steam, get a second account (it also gives you all the games) and get a instant download of hl2 when it comes out without the shipping and handling fee....
