Hmm, I'll try that. I have a hard time noticing such small differences, though. I just read on some tweak guide that you should put the max at your screen's refresh rate. Anyone else know if I should have it at 60 or 61 fps for a 60 Mhz screen?
I appreciate your suggestions, but that seems like quite a bit of work for a fairly minor issue. I already have my settings all the way up, and I don't really want to re-install or defragment. Maybe I'll just have to live with it.
I have a graphics problem where the dust from bullets hitting walls and objects is always the same size on my screen. For example, in DoD:S if I shoot at the ground in the distance, the dust that shoots up from the ground looks REALLY huge (because it's the same size on the screen as it would be...
In HL2, CS:S, and DoD:S, I keep on typing the following commands in the console:
fps_max 60
cl_ragdoll_collide 1
The settings stay during the time I play, but when I quit and go back to the game, both these settings are back to their default values. I have also tried editing the .cfg...
I've been away from the whole Half-Life 2 scene for a while, and I have just recently decided I want to finally buy the Steam Premier Package.
I was wondering if anyone could give me a list (or a link to a list) of modifications for Half-Life 2. Which ones are really popular? Which ones are...
Smashing Pumpkins - Soma
It starts off so soft, gets hard, has an amazing guitar solo, and continually evolves throughout the song. That's what's so great about most of the songs on Siamese Dream, they change as they go rather than reverting back to the same old verse and then chorus, verse...
Wow, you have some really good photos. Good job. I should really spend more time taking pictures since I had a lot of fun in my photo class at high school. By the way, what school does your friend go to who's doing film? I'm actually going to be studying film next year.
So, I need a new laptop for college next year. I'm not really sure what type of laptop to get. I'm pretty sure I want to order one from Dell (but that's not a requirement) and be able to run the latest games fairly well, yet I don't want it to be too expensive. One of the hard things for me...
I'm guessing it's because of the similar storyline, once again. The whole concept of Terminator (machines taking over the world and destorying humankind) is very much like the concept for the Matrix movies. But, the specifics of the stories are very different. Hmmm . . . she can't claim...
I don't know. I think the monochromatic approach can actually make a signature graphic stronger. It is more simplistic and focuses more on the value contrast. I prefer that signature graphics don't jump out at me too much when I'm scrolling through a thread.
Is it just me, or does it feel like Christmas? I mean, staying up all night to open your present (HL2)! It's the same thing! And Valve is Santa Claus! :bounce:
