Yeah, I'm not really complaining about running, but the strafing just looks ridiculous to me. Like the legs go too far sideways or something. Although all this doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things because CS:S will be amazing no matter how you look at it.
Okay, here's what I think should happen. The bolt-action animation for the AWP should go faster so that there's no point to quickswitching, since everyones does it anyway. Then, quickswitching should be changed so that if you hit number 2 while you have your primary weapon out, you start to...
Haha, I can see people having huge fights over this. "I TOLD you! What did I say? THE RED WIRE! Man, you're out of the clan."
I think this is a neat idea, but it just doesn't really fit CS. And when you're a counter-terrorist trying to defuse the bomb, you don't want to have to worry...
Yeah, you might have to keep some dramamine pills next to the computer if you have a weak stomach.
Haha, I actually thought about this, except the "life" that flashed before your eyes would just be the last 2 minutes of your CS experience. That would be so lame, er, awesome!
The models are fine for the most part, but what really bothers me is the animation of the legs. The legs look very goofy when strafing and a little weird when running.
It's also almost as if the textures for the models aren't as realistic-looking as the current ones for CS. I'm not really...
Yeah, I wouldn't mind it taking a little longer to switch weapons, but I mainly just want to see your current weapon being put away. I'm not sure I would want it to take too much longer, because I like it right now how you can pull out your pistol in a frantic situation and still have a chance.
This is just a minor thing that I have a little problem with. When you switch between weapons in CS, there is no animation for putting away your current weapon before taking out your next weapon. I think it would look good if you saw your hands pull your current weapon out of the screen and...
I don't reall know why it matters if you "lose yourself." I think it would look cool and it would feel like your more a part of the game.
Yeah, this bothered me as well. All the great graphics sort of don't matter when you still have these little problems.
You know what would be cool...
I find this funny, because in a lot of servers the camera does a top-down view focused on your dead body and I can't see where my killer is hiding. I wouldn't mind a "kill cam" feature like in Call of Duty. But, I'm sure this won't happen. I don't know, I would sacrifice not being able to see...
Yeah, the graphics are amazing. I read that the physics will be less accurate in CS:S, but you can't tell.
Why thank you, I made it myself :smoking: . I'm guessing you're a fan.
While watching the new CS:S video on gamespot, I noticed that when you die, the camera flies backward from your body to show your figure falling to the ground in the new ragdoll fashion. This camera-leaves-body feature is just like the current one for CS. Sure, this allows you to watch the...
Thank you . . . it's one of my best  . Yeah, I really don't care that much about this subject. Looking at the CS:S videos, the gun placement looks fine the way it is.
CS:S will be amazing. I mean, CS right now is real fun . . . some of the best multiplayer action out there. The only problem with it currently is outdated graphics and physics, which will be drastically improved in CS:S. So, I am quite happy that CS:S will simply be the same gameplay with...
. . . this would make less of your vision obstructed by the gun. Right now you see the side of the gun and it obstructs a bit. I'm suggesting that it be moved so that it's not at such an extreme angel, and so you would be looking at mostly the top of the gun, and a little of the side. Much...
