Agreed. Lost Coast was the last time I was blown away by the Source engine; that was really something. With the release of Portal, L4D and sequels my reaction has just been 'meh.'
This is happening for TF2, DoD and CSS. When I refresh, only a dozen or so servers will show. Even then, it won't let me connect; otherwise I'll rarely be able to. As a heads up, I'm connected to my university's network:

Thanks for any...
Ouch. Cringe to say the least. I'll give them credit for the effort they put in, but immediately I found myself drawing conclusions; it just doesn't come close to the outstanding quality of Escape from City 17. Speaking of which, where's part 2?
Yep, that's definitely up there. City of God is now officially one of my favourite films of all time. I'm extremely ashamed to admit that I've only recently just watched it. The editing and pace of this film is second to none; I applause Fernando Meirelles for this absolute masterpiece.
Comments like this simply bewilder me; how can people not recognise integrity for what it is? Brainwashed by the majority of shit that the film industry spews out nowadays? I don't know. It's just beyond me I'm afraid.
No offense Dan, this wasn't directed at you, I just had to get that out of...
Meh - that's what's immediately coming to mind. Hopefully it won't be like that god-awful DLC that was released for the original L4D. I guess I'm just not interested in L4D2 anymore; its addiction factor has quickly withered away for me I'm afraid.
In regards to the early scenes of the film: character development! Personally, the length of these first scenes didn't bother me in the slightest. The phenomenal acting and witty pieces of humour more than made for an enjoyable experience in my eyes. I'm going to quote this review on IMDb, which...
I can safely say it is easily one of the best films I've ever seen. I can't recall the last time I've watched a film that was literally breathtaking. Stunning, just stunning.
I'm currently studying the Cold War at school; lately in one of my lessons the film popped up in a discussion and...
You know what, if they really have abolished episodic content in favour of HL3, I'm pretty much over the moon. Works for me. 6 years wait? I don't care, it'll be more than worth it.
