HL3 will more than like have time travel. In any series with a post apoclyptic future the main goal of the hero is to get things back like they are suppose to be like in terminator, back to the future 2, time cop, ect ect. Think about it earth and humanity has been devastated and the only way to...
For story halflife but for gameplay action halo2. For puzzles halflife 2. I even set hl2 to hard but the game is really easy! Halo 2 is only easy at the beggining of the game.
To give you an idea oh how rich he is, he co-founded valve and has been playing the employees out oh his own pocket since starting the development of hl1.
I'm not sure if it's true but I also heard source suppose unlimited players. You can daisy chain servers to work together and support more players. I'm not sure if this is true.
I often hear people say halo 1 was nothing new that other games done what halo did better. I been playing pc fps since 95 and I don't know 1 games that brings all the things halo did in 1 game. Elements like wide open levels, physics, great music and story, great enemy A.I. great graphics, Coop...
Thats all it is, many of the same problems are still there. Granted its a pretty good beta version, but I have no doubt there will be a series of patches comming fixing things like the lagging hitboxes, the super quick map changes after the map's time is over, and the fire glitch on bomb maps.
Quit posting spoilers in the title, you could have named the thread new pics or something. Now I know there are air dropped striders in the game. I need to stay away from this place.
Valve can't release Hl2 yet because of the lawsuit. If valve sells Cs:source with their steam packages they can say in court, well we already sold all these people Hl2 though steam and we have to deliver it to them and the courts will probably rule in valve's favor.
Actually they don't, most of the people that buy cs will probably buy HL2. Besides even if the game goes gold next week it will still be a few weeks until the game ships.
Actually Gamespot's rumors aren't bs often, i visit the site daily and they aren't wrong a lot. They wouldn't make up news. If they can't get info from a developer or publisher they just say no comment.
