I'd pay $79.95, and maybe, maybe up to $89.95 but thats it. :x
Now thats 'marketing stratigies in yo hizzy' for you. At this point they'd be able to charge this much if they wanted to, and everyone would buy it.
Well it doesn't elaborate much does it.
I highly doubt it. It'd be great news if it were true, but Doug Lombardi (yeah I know how trustworthy he's word is) recently was quoted in Tokyo as saying they are trying to release the game 'before Christmas'...
Yeah, hopefully you guys will get more precise answers and clear up this whole 'trying to get it released before Christmas' thing.
I mean even waiting til Christmas would be completely horrible, not to mention the uncertainty of 'trying to...'.
They better make a Thankgiving release at...
BLUE SHIFT:
The blue shift is a decrease in the wavelength of the light that is emitted from an object that is moving toward us. This decrease in wavelength makes the object appear to be bluer than it actually is. For example, when a star is travelling towards Earth, its light appears bluer...
Well apparently from what Doug Lombardi said in Tokyo, they are infact done with the game and are working on language support as well as 'hardware fine-tuning'.
Take from that what you will, but I think it supports my theory.:eek...
Yeah. It's a scientific term.
Also:
Blue Shift is a term with relation to stars in Astronomy.
Opposing Force as in Newton's Law, for every action there is a an equal and opposite reaction.
It's kind of cool how all of the Half Life titles have been scientific puns.
True. If you go to the Havok website you can see that HL2 was the major testing ground for Havok 2.0, and alot of it was colaboration between Havok and Valve.
Havok give Valve credit for the their contribution to Havok 2.0, and says no game utilizes so much of it and show cases it like HL2.
I can wait for alot of thing, and I'm no kid either. Is it that hard for you to see people's expectations were raised to a boiling point before they announced the delay a mere 6 days before release?
It's not the wait, it's the way we were reassured that they were sticking to 9/30 date despite...
This isn't a flame but the flatline sound is old news. We think that the Combine have something similar to the HEV suit health and armor monitoring in their suits.
That would have to be me too.
We all know how dope the physics and graphics are going to be, so the anticipation of actually playing gets my vote.
I'd really like to see how they set up the story as well.
They should release the benchmark to the PUBLIC and give us the remaining 3 videos (or two whatever). It's the least they can do.
After all they promised this to us.
We'll get a another Steam update that has a CS server fix on it and the Steam news page will remain unchanged.
I think it's going to be a while til they annouce the new date. I hope they do it soon, but at this point I expect the worst.
I think that the benchmark will go out the press, but...
