About goddamn time, I've had it preordered for over 15 months now! Stupid gamestore hasn't emailed me yet either.. *sigh* Prolly get it next week though (Birthdays are fun!)

Hm, I hope my AMD Athlon XP 1700+, 512 MB DDR RAM and GeForce3 Ti200 128DDR will be able to run it.. I'm a bit worried about the gfx, but I'll be getting a new in about a month or so :-)

The beta worked fine, now it goes 1.0 and hell brakes loose! I can understand why the updates are going slow, the servers are beeing hogged by everyone so I'm fine with that. But the thing that bothers me are that it takes forever to start something in steam, like just opening the settings...

ah damnit. just when I send away this thread, it started updating fine.. someone delete this thread.

when I try to start my steam, it just say "updating steam platform" but the progress bar ain't moving, and after a while it closes down. nothing happens. anyone have similair problem? does anyone know how to fix this?
