Now I know this one looks quite similar to the one we saw yesterday...especially from the look of the hand and crowbar...but I can't tell if it's fake or not. Some of the surfaces look like possible textures, but a lot of you guys are the experts when it comes to this sort of thing so you tell...
Whoa...it says Monolith next to cs:assault. Is this the same Monolith of NOLF fame? The same that's making F.E.A.R.? Good lord...those are some talented game developers right there. Could someone confirm/deny whether this is the Monolith game developer or not? Thanks.
EDIT: WTF? In no way did...
I agree. Just finished the game, and after hearing what G-Man had to say I immediately began thinking of time travel and the possibility that the G-Man is capable of orchestrating events however he so chooses.
When I was in the HL2.net's chat room during the countdown party on the 15th, I...
I'm not expecting anything soon, mind you, but I do remember Gabe mentioning in a recent interview that they plan on releasing episodic single player content in the future. Stuff like Alyx and Dog campaigns and what not. I'd prefer to be Dog tbh. Flinging cars around and what not. Any word on...
I just saw someone on the irc chat recommend the following version to me (only filename sorry): 8-08-411. He claimed that these were THE drivers for performance to use with Half-Life 2. Can anyone confirm this? Also, I heard mention in the chat that both ATI and NVIDIA have just released beta...
I'm going to first admit that I didn't play through the first game. Didn't even get it for my X-Box in fact (bought it awhile after it had been out). I did buy the PC version, of which I had a blast playing multi (especially with the added maps Gearbox did such a good job with). Even then I...
wtf? If I post it in general discussion I get yelled at cause it's not Half-Life 2 related. What does it matter what I write about in off-topic? Is that not what its for? Unless you have something to add to what I've said go fu*k off.
edit: god damn't my apologies. Just saw the temp Halo 2...

Anyone want to volunteer to take up sending duties of the pics (those that have them)? I have a college paper to write so I can't really stick around all night on here. Just note the future e-mail addresses accordingly. Thanks to anyone who has the time.
Yah I agree...original Halo port left quite a bit to be desired compared to what it looked like on the X-Box. You really have to make an effort it seems to make it look as decent as the one on the original system (i.e. KOTOR PC port). The models in the Halo port looked like crap.
I'm combining a bunch of addresses to make it easier to send things cause the attachments are so large. It would be a lot easier for me if you gave me an e-mail here.
Okee dokey...just sent both scans to those who provided me with their addresses on the thread. Sorry for the wait. Yahoo mail isn't the ideal client for attaching files larger than a meg in size. The only cons mentioned in the Half-Life 2 review dealt with the vehicle control. They thought it...
