Well, i really don't care whether or not it's released on the day halo 2 comes out (although i DO know quite a few Halo 2 fanboys), any release date change for the earlier would be nice :D

It creates the files, then you use an external program (such as Nero burning rom) to burn the files. Then, you run the .exe from the first disk and it should back them up. I haven't tested this, but the exe that the backup creates started up for me. I'm not going to backup / burn them until Half...

Just finished backing up. It creates its own .exe to install the files and everything! All the files are perfect sizes for the disks too. Here is a screenshot of the folder it created: Folder Pic (if it doesn't work, sorry...i have limited bandwith) [edit] when you open the .exe, it opens...

BSOD? [edit]...OH blue screen of death. Yea, windows can do that sometimes ;) Does your computer often do that, or do you think that the backup utility did it?

Just remember guys, this may not be a final build of this feature. Someone on another forum told me that it "shreds" the files. I'm backing up Half Life 2 right now to see if it works. Just remember, since it hasn't been fully implemented, i wouldn't fully trust it yet ;)

Exactally. Even if he is a "hardcore gamer", i do believe that he probably rushed through it so he could see it all. Personally, i plan to take the first time through nice and slow. Later, i'll up the difficulty and try flying through it :P Oh yea, and that was a cool interview! I can't...

I think we need one more KILLER trailer. Not a recording of a part of the game, but a trailer. I'm imagining something along the lines of a movie trailer. That would be cool! :D Something that really leaves you hanging, amazed, and wanting to play the game. :E

I'm in EST as well. My plan (if i don't have any MAJOR tests on that Tuesday) is to go to sleep early (about 9:00) and sleep until about 2:30. Then, i'll wake up and play Half Life 2 until I have to leave for school at 6:45!
