it's just one of those FPS conventions you don't see your hands move unless you're reloading or something, or if you're in 3rd person view (eg. Jedi Knight) then you see a hand move a bit, but that's just about it.
I say June and July are too soon, game companiess always exaggerate their quarterly releases i say august, if not september. i also believe releasing it after E3 as another marketting scheme to get the public interested in HL2 again.
Perfect Dark was more or less a sequal to Goldeneye, and it scored 100%, only game ever to do something like that. HL1 got around 98%, i assume HL2 will get 90-95%

I don't know if anybody's said this, but in traptown, the first enemy actually appears out of nowhere. just after he blows the cardboard box down the ramp he kinda turns to the door and slowly walks and in the corner you see the guy just appear outta no where and startshooting. seems dodgier...
op4 was good, not the best, but added some in some good action. blue shift was fun, was probably made better than op4 but damn, so not worth the money.
