I had the opposite problem, my screwdrivers stripped the screws. This is after I had to fix the screw-holes with JB weld. The metal insert broke off because the laptop wasn't put back together properly by a previous owner, and someone over-tightened a couple of screws to put it back together...

I never played 1 or 2, but I bound the skills to qwer and I'm playing it like a really fast paced Dota. Blink into a group of enemies, suck them all right up next to me, beat the shit out of them, then blink to the ones that got thrown across the map.

Are you dead set on getting an AMD system? Because, to be honest, I'd go with Intel. Ivy bridge is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else out there right now. ASRock makes some phenomenal boards if you want to take a look at them. Z77 is the current go-to chipset, but z68 or p67 would suit...

I can't say much about the FF series as a whole, but I enjoyed a translated version of III on the nes, and Golden Sun was amazing. I ought to play more jrpgs but I have no time.
