That's possibly the most pathetic place to get stuck in.. Seriously, are you 'stuck' in your own room now also, because you don't know you need to open the door to get out? Also, put off caps lock and make some normal text please.

I find it really interesting that I don't notice you're problems with the SAME patch. Isn't this your pc's fault? Format or something..that always works.

Playing it for the second time.. and still impressed everytime something cool happens. This game really give you the feeling you are the 'messianic' hero the resistance were waiting for.

I have the same problem with my XFX 6800 GT. Alot of nvidia users have it.

Half-life 2 is MUCH longer then half-life 1..that's a fact.. Maybe you were worse in playing fps games back when you played hl1. I played hl1 recently again, and again, it's MUCH shorter.

in counterstrike source my fps can get low as 33 fps in heavy firefights.. but also 160 fps in hallways inside sometimes..so yea, weird fps drops. HL2 plays fine..outside 50-60 fps..and inside 100+ I think..but haven't tested it really yet. Fps stress test: 1024x780x32, EVERYTHING...

Please read better. He says 'once im outside'; the can thing is not outside. To topicstarter: You must not shoot the guards yet, you must find a ladder somewhere, near the place where some sort of tank, and guards are standing, and a strider is walking by.
