I am in a similar situation. But mine is all working apart form the fact that pressing "games" will instantly hang steam and i am forced to ctrlaltdel. So very annoying.

hmmm, i uninstalled steam, and then reinstalled with this version. And it loaded up and everything, but the moment i click on "games" it hangs and i am forced to CTRlAltDel! Why is this happening to me:(:(

it installed, got all ready to load up. Now it thinks its running, but there are no icons now, nowhere.:( EDIT: now its updating or something...again...bleh

yeah, i am looking at upgrading just the vid card for the moment. i have 750megs of SDR ram, hopefully that will do. mate of mine snagged a radeon 9600pro for AUS$240. damn nice price.

Hey hey, thsi is amazing. All these fellow iinet users. im only on the 256 plan, but thanks to AUSIX(vix)/PIPE in melbourne i pull about 15-16 gigs a month. Hopefully they will set up some hl2 multi game servers on ausix. Broadband does suck in aus, stupid telstra.
