There is no skill involved in DM it is a free for all. Other games have other modes like CTF and Domination etc. Those require knowledge of the map, familiar with each weapons strengths and weaknesses, and practice! I played Doom on Dwango and Duke Nukem 3d on a 14.4 Modem :)

The default path for the .GCF files is C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps So basically where you installed HL2\Valve\Steam\SteamApps You are aware there is a search feature not only on this forum but on your PC! HIT WINDOWS KEY + The F Key. now search for your GCF files. *.gcf

This has been asked numerous times. I guess you are starving for attention. My only beef with steam is the whole offline playing mess and the fact patches are not optional.
