I meant that the bug is a plausible bug... they use tracelines for the bullets, so they could have had something set up at that time that checked the surface contents at the point where the bullet collided, and made the appropriate decal. If they didn't clip the decal to the edges of the brush...
It looks like something that could plausibly happen (the center of the decal is on glass), but remember that this could be another one of the demo playback bugs.
I'm excited about INCorporated. Judging from the models they have up so far it really looks like their artists know what they're doing and have some experience.
Lambda Co-Op has also caught my attention, but they may just have a really freaking awesome concept artist.
