Same as any other piece of software in such a pirate market, about $1 to $2. Pick the software you want, Windows XP, Office, games etc, wait 10 minutes and you have your disc(s).
Seriously, you want me to beleive this? You want me to beleive $6+ million USD is paid by ATI to include the game with shipping graphics cards only to know it's not going to ship for ages? BS. ATI thought this, for $6 million they would have known if it was late. It wasn't late, it got late due...
And how on earth would Valve be able to predict a source code theft 6 months before it takes place? Why don't people remember the most likely cause of this delay, amnesia or what?
In due time, after release of the game, I'm sure the whole horrible story will surface and we will all forgive...

The point is, if the hackers come from the lower end of the social scale, or being young, or come from a poor country, there should be people around that person that would gladly tell for that amount of money.

Yes, but the whole question seems aimed at finding out who does not trust Valve after they lost their source code. But for someone who never payes over Internet it doesn't matter, so these should have two different options.
Look, the benchmark was coming, the last 3 BINK movies were going to come after Steam 1.0 release, the game was going to be released September 30. Guess what? one week before all this an idiot breaks into Valve and every single employee at Valve is now busy with damage control and investigations...
