Considering I dispise religion .. And never said there was anything "wrong" with it...nor did I say wait until married. Think you may have read into what I said a bit there ;)
It's just an old fashion value that has died over time and I think it's nice to see some teens/young adults hold onto...
I believe mine (without looking it up) was in response to someone asking the name of the Stephen King tale (The Mist) Half Life is based on, or inspired by.
Not for a long time...but then I'm 37.
Good to see people with the "not until married or in an important relationship" attitude. I thought this was an all but dead value which is really sad.
Have many scars...only two that are interesting though:
On my left wrist. Fell into a pit and landed on glass. Never even knew I did it until someone pointed out the blood running down my leg (have no feeling in that area now).
And a "C" shaped one on my little finger on my right hand...
Used to be in a Quake2 clan called "Mage" and my name was (and still is whenever I play anything online) Phobia.
But there were days where I wanted to just play and be antisocial and anonymous without being tied to a clan; "Someone" fits that about as well as anything.
Have to say opening scene.
That's what drew me into HL1. I expected to just be "dropped" into some location and the battles begin, but got a wonderful prologue and real plot instead.
Can't wait to see how we get from the end of HL1 to the start of HL2.
Wasn't there a quote from an interview with Gabe recenlty where he stated the cost of making HL2 had reached over $40,000,000?
Imagine the sales they will have to make just to break even with that.
It seems like $50 for a "game" is a lot...but it's probably pretty fair considering what...
Would say there have only been two movies that truly scared me :
1) The Exorcist
2) Jaws (I have a fear of water..so that didn't help...also the very first movie I saw in a theater in 1975)
Things today are just so watered down and generic...give me the older movies any day.
Saw it only a few hours ago.
Think I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm rather anal about movies ;) I thought it was rather average. I didn't hate it and I would actually recommend people to see it even if just for the ending, but it's not what I would call a "great" movie.
A lot of...
