IceFrog has said (iirc) that he wants to have DOTA 2 cost as little as possible, so announcing a bundle with EP 3 would not only make it cheaper, but it would introduce many new people to the DOTA genre, hmm... I wouldn't hold my breath though, but if so they'll probably announce it as one of...
Can't we start putting things in spoiler tags? Just because you (not anyone in particular) have come to a point doesn't mean that everyone else has :/. Put up a small spoiler-free description before the spoiler so those who've already done it can read it if they want. I'd really like to...
I did a quick search before I started my character and I heard that INT was much less useful in F:NV than in FO3? So I only went 6 in INT this time instead of 9 and boosted some other stats instead.
I have two soundcards, one on the motherboard and another which I bought cause I wanted better sound. I have tried before to switch between them but the sound still stays when I do that. All other sounds stop working of course but that sound persists. It's weird.
I've had no problems with lag yet and only a few crashes which are super annoying because I have to reboot cause a sound keeps looping until I shut my computer off as I stated before. (Couldn't find where to disable sound acceleration Gargantou, I checked dxdiag :( ) I run it on Windows 7 64-bit...
I think Valve's version will be a lot better simply because it will be a standalone game as opposed to a custom map. One pretty big problem I see aswell is the built-in delay that StarCraft II has with units which will probably make it a pain to micro a single hero unit all the time. Also Valve...
Haven't got any source on this yet but I've seen it posted on multiple forums that Blizzard announced at BlizzCon a 1:1 port of DotA over from the Warcraft III engine to the StarCraft II engine. And it will be named Defense of the Ancients aswell. Looks like more competition for Valve, even on...
Whenever I crash in for example oblivion or fallout I always get a permanent annoying sound which keeps looping that I don't know how to get rid of without restarting my computer. So after every crash I have to reboot which is annoying and with Fallout:NV it seems like I'd have to start...
Focus solely on macro in the beginning. In the words of Day9, just say to yourself "SCV/Supply Depot" (if you're protoss then probe/pylon obviously, zerg is different though) the whole game and make sure you never get supply blocked and that you always produce workers. Your economy is the most...
Well in HoN you get skins and stuff for free cause of the modding :P. How many hours does it take to get access to everything in LoL then? I assume it takes quite a while because otherwise using microtransactions to generate money wouldn't be very successful. In HoN you get access to everything...
First of all DotA isn't free. You have to buy Warcraft 3 + The Frozen Throne and it's graphics are horrendeous compared to HoN not to mention the WC3 engine is a lot more limited than S2's K2 engine. Secondly, you don't expect games to cost money? I mean, it only costs $30 (half of some other PC...
