my standards are 1024 res on a 19" monitor, with an athlon 3.06, 1024 ram with a radeon 9800 pro 128 ram. No anti aliasing etc. I guess hl2 is gonna run ok with all graphics to the highest. Any new news on the press release tonight?

maybe, but im almost 100% sure you wont have any graphical extras if you use a 9800xt. Hl2s graphical features are bound only to the DirectX version. A better shader processing unit or so may be included though. but that will only speed up the game, not more.

Its surely is binks fault. The sync in the vids wasnt captured perfectly by the bink software, best example for that is the crowbar issue in traptown, where wood brakes before it was hit.
