Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - 8.5/10
The first one was quite good, but I really, really enjoyed this one. Great characters, good humor, good mix between action, suspense and dialog, some mystery and overall just really fun.
I've been playing for about 2 more hours now, the entire time with infinite mana... HALP ME. This is no fun actually, kind of removes most of the challenge..
Weird, I had a member of the College of Mages test a spell on me, which of course backfired making my screen go green. Also, I couldn't run out of mana. Now that the spell has worn off, my spells still don't seem to cost mana..
This is the time of year where we remember the things that are truly important in life. Such as the laws of physics that govern the existence and behavior of matter.
It's about time they got nerfed. And I use them, but I don't wanna feel like it's the only thing I can use without missing out on points. It really is massively overpowered, you can see things you would otherwise miss at a glance. Not only that, but things like AT mines also become *very*...
As valid as all other MW3 bashing is, this is pretty silly. If the building fits in MW3, then why not? Or does it detract from my lust for fresh architecture? I've seen loads of buildings in BF3 that are straight out of BC2 which are straight out of BC1. But it works, so why not?
I won't be...
I never made it to 40 in BC2 though, despite having put 200 hours into it. That never got me past 30 or so, I suspect reaching 40 is like 400 hours? That's not a reasonable counter.
I don't think it needs to be removed, it just needs to be overexposed and nearly unusable outside / in bright light.
Another thing that makes it OP is that in BF3, HDR lighting has a pretty substantial effect on gameplay. If you move from indoors to outdoors, it's overexposed for a second or...
Man, the IRNV needs some nerfing. I say that after using it for a while on my M416 and seeing how much easier it makes it to acquire a target in the chaotic, information-overloaded battlefield. There's literally no reason why you want to be using any other sights on your weapons unless it's a...
Don't forget the intensely creepy "be a good girl". Guy gets off on it, disgusting.
Can't believe I saw people white-knighting this in the comments. Teaches me to read Youtube comments, I guess.
When you think about it, it's rather silly to use numbers to describe something that's not measurable or objectively quantifiable.
I would go for no rating or a like/dislike or buy/don't buy system because that reflects the subjectivity of the matter. It really doesn't tell me much when...
