I'd go "Damnit", reinstall, if that doesnt work, reformat. If I cannot get it working no matter what i try, i'll ask on the net. If their suggestions dont work. I'd pack it all up and take it back for a refund of my $100AUD. And possibly buy another game. None of this 'KILL KILL KILL' shit...

Absolutely love this movie. Though not *as* good as The Matrix, it is still brilliant in its own right. Hell, anything to do with the Matrix IMO is just cool (Animatrix, ETM). Picked the DVD up first day.

Well, no. The two engines are different, one is made by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R team (X-ray engine) and the Source engine is made of course by ValVE. Saying they're using almost the same engine is false, as they are two different things, each will support things the other doesn't. And IMO...

21kb/s DL, 11kb/s UP. Mine's working just fine downloading a game (Not HL2 if you're thinking that).

They have to compensate for all of the potentally compromised code that comes with a source leak. (Potentially stuffed up Steam etc.)

But most of the five years was researching and planning the Source engine. I'm sure after all the time they've been developing it they'd know their way around it and can fix it alot faster than they could 2+ years ago.
