The way I see it is that valve keeping quiet is only a good thing. By saying that I mean they would have said by now (being this close to the release date) if it were to be delayed. I'm taking them being so quiet about it like this: They are working very hard right now to get it out on...

I'm sure new drivers will be released by NVIDIA (probably soon) that will allow you to play HL2 at a reasonable framerate. I wouldn't worry if I were you.:thumbs:

9500 pro. :thumbs: That's exactly what I have, and it works great. If you can't find a 9500 pro, go for the 9600 pro. IMO, it's the best bang for the buck.:thumbs: BTW, I also would like to see some lower-end benchmarks. Valve has been saying the game will run smoothly on lower-end...

I have a 9500 pro, and I assure you it is DX9. I don't know why they made the 9600 pro 4 pixel pipelines. Oh well. I should feel lucky I got one when I could.

I know UT2K3 had a website for it's community quite a while before the game was released. As much as I like these forums I think it would be cool to have an official one with announcements from the developers and stuff, but like Para said they probably won't be releasing any new stuff...
