As already mentioned here, Halo didnt have any boss fights. Boss fights are an amazing and awesome part of videogame history, but they dont really belong in a FPS.

I liked the BS ending it was the most realistic. Not every story ends with a confrontation of a giant monster. And it also seemed to connect with HL2 the most. Think about where Barney goes from there to become involved in HL2 its good food for thought.
