I agree, and yet several similar games have not recently.
And to those similarly curious, I did confirm that it does. I'm checking out the demo now, can't wait to play it tomorrow.
not to hijack your thread raz but I was underwhelmed by catan when I first played it a few months ago. It's a pretty simple game and will leave you longing for some more complex gameplay, but maybe I've just been spoiled by civ.

Looks like a lot of good AI fixes and gameplay changes but unfortunately not many performance or graphics fixes (I still get some weird artifacts after playing awhile).
looks like it has a lit of promise. I wonder if you can pickpocket the guards for keys or lock hostages into rooms so you don't have to guard them anymore.
looking at some benchmarks I find it hard to justify upgrading to that card. I'm always looking for the components that give the best performance per dollar ratio.
I didn't think ME 1's item system was great by any means but it was better than nothing. It's been quite awhile since I played it but I don't remember it getting annoying to clear it out.

Yeah, getting started with electric is actually pretty affordable. My first electric new was about $120 and first (crappy) amp was $50. I'm sure you can get better stuff than I started with for cheaper if you looked for used gear.
I have a hard time remembering exactly which games I played this year, much less which ones came out this year since I tend to look for obscure games quite a lot.
