This makes me sad :(
With Marc's departure from Valve, I've all but given up on Gabe's empire ever focusing on Half-Life again, at least not as a traditional FPS. They might do some wacky VR stuff, but that won't be of any interest to me.
What a shame.
Great read! Really enjoyed the Decay campaign, one of the few co-op games I've actually played as co-op. Very interesting to see how it would have linked to the wider story if it had been left unaltered.
I'm a singleplayer gamer, never been massive on co-op (unless it is local) and MOBAs don't have much interest to me..nor does VR.
Still, I hold out hope that Valve will make something which appeals to my interests again.
Well I had a glance at the gen games for a normal post..and it seemed like a barren wasteland :p
Also, find it difficult to return to a forum after a long time away, never know the best way to reintegrate. People remembered me for Reticule spam, so I thought I'd carry on :D
Anyone been playing around with this yet? Had some very positive results on my netbook. It couldn't play anything which needs a good framerate very well, but Civ5 was definitely playable. Anyone with a decent second machine should have a great time with the streaming.
Might have written...
It says something about the lack of sport related chat we have on here for a Brit to talk about the NFL Playoffs! Or does that just mean I am the only NFL fan here?
Anyway, Wildcard weekend is over, and my pick for outside chancers at winning the Superbowl, the Redskins, crumbled last night...
Yeah I had a copy, then realised it was a bit of a moral mindfield to review it myself as anyone can see we are friends, one of my writers is going to be doing it for me after I posted my 360 copy off. Might grab it on Steam though :)
