Do some Googling around, I am pretty sure that you are able to dig your saves out of their non-GFWL place and put them somewhere which GFWL recognises. I don't think all GFWL games let you do this, but worth searching for.

Red Alert 2 was the last truly great one for me, Yuri's Revenge was too bizarre, Generals was good but nothing more..everything since then just wasn't enjoyable for me.
